Round 2 Results of the DMC Online Championship were announced yesterday and the three DJs to go through to the Online Final are  Groove Sparkz (France) / DJ Supet (Czech) and DJ Qeys (USA). They will join DJ Hesa, DJ Endless and Anthony Scratchnuts in the August final.

We are currently on Round 3 so you have plenty of chance still to enter and get yourself into the Online Final for your chance to win part of the $20,000 worth of prizes up for grabs  form our sponsors Rane, Stanton and Pioneer!

The Online DJ Competition is well and truly under way! We launched last Wednesday and we have 75 entries for Round 1!
Make sure you watch and vote on as many of the entries as you like, the DJs need your support!

The public vote for 2 weeks and after those 2 weeks the public Top 10 will then be sent to selected DMC World Champions who will then decide which 3 DJs from each round will go through to the DMC Online Final.

If you didn’t get your set into Round 1 then don’t worry, you can upload for Round 2 now!

DMC pioneers of the DMC World DJ Championships broke the boundaries of the DJ World in 2011 when launching the enormously successful DMC Online DJ Championships. We now head into Year 3!

The Online DJ Championship is an annual event which promises to secure the art of the DJ for years to come placing it before a global audience and opening the DMC competing arena to every DJ in the world.

DJs! Its time to prepare your 2 min entry to take part in the biggest DJ Online competition in the world!  The 2013 DMC Online Championship launches on Friday 22^nd March.

The format of the Online Championships will commence with contestants uploading a filmed two minute performance followed by two week public voting. The public’s Top 10 will then be judged by DMC World Champions who will decide which 3 DJs from each round to progress to the Online Final.

In the Online Final the DJs will require to upload a full 6 minute set with public voting leading to the ten most popular who will then be judged by former DMC World Champions.

Any DJ or aspiring DJ can now take part in the biggest online DJ competition in the world.

How it works:

It’s been a while…..

First of all, congratulations to all the World Champions from the 2012 World Championships! We hope you are all busy doing what you love to do!

After a hard fought battle, the incredible Ritchie Ruftone came out on top, and will be representing the UK in the World Finals in September. After coming 2nd place in last year’s UK Finals, the victory was particularly sweet for the Scottish DJ. Furious P came in with the runner up spot, and hotly tipped Asian Hawk grabbed the 3rd place prizes.

Not happy with simply winning the UK Final, the extremely talented Ritchie Ruftone also took the prize in The Battle For UK Supremacy, with 2010’s UK Champ Deceptakut coming a close runner up.

In between the acts, charismatic host Inja charmed the audience with his trademark style, and the charismatic Four Owls brought their dedicated fan-base and raucous live show to the packed out Garage venue.

DMC World Supremacy Champions Nelson and Switch performed a one off, mind blowing showcase battle going head to head over a number of rounds. It was all done in the name of good sport, but if you missed it – you’ll have to wait until the DVD to decide your winner…

With such a high calibre of skill on show at the DMC UK Finals, this year’s World Finals on the 27th and 28th September at the HMV Forum will as fiery and testing as ever.

The staff at Northumbria Uni were absolutely amazing, thanks to every single one of you! We had a great event. The Newcastle crowd were by far the most enthusiastic and noisy and they appreciated every single performance on the night!

Big thanks goes out to the live graf artists, Rick Fury + ADS + Layla Lu for performing and getting the crowd hype! Ken Masters for stepping in to host the event in Inja’s absense and DJ Giro for providing the house music for the night. DJ FLy absolutely smashed it! He really is a true genius! I think Newcastle crowned him as a god!
