DMC Canada is hosting the DMC Scratch and DMC Classic categories.
IMPORTANT:
The entry deadline is May 24, 2026 at 11:59 PM, and DJs from across Canada are encouraged to submit their routines for a chance to compete in one of the most respected DJ competitions in the world.
The DMC Canada Finals 2026 brings together the country’s top turntablists for an electrifying celebration of DJ battle culture. Competitors from across Canada will go head-to-head across two official DMC categories — Classic and Scratch — each highlighting a different aspect of the art of turntablism.
The Classic category celebrates the roots of the DMC Championships, where DJs deliver a carefully crafted routine showcasing mixing, scratching, creativity, and musicality.
The Scratch category focuses purely on the technical art of scratching, challenging DJs to demonstrate precision, style, and originality.
Finalists will compete live on stage for the title of DMC Canada Champion in their respective categories, with winners earning the opportunity to represent Canada on the world stage at the DMC World DJ Championships.
Whether you're a competitor or a fan of turntablism, the DMC Canada Finals is a celebration of DJ culture, creativity, and the ongoing evolution of the turntable as a musical instrument.
