Launching the 2025 DMC Wildcard Competition!

The battle begins now! We’re excited to officially launch the 2025 DMC Wildcard Competition, giving DJs across the globe another shot at securing a place in this year’s DMC World Finals in Tokyo!

The Wildcard competition is a special online-only battle open to any DJ does not have a host branch in their country or in some cases, did not win their national DMC final. This is your opportunity to show the world your skills — no borders, no limits. Here's what to know:

• Only 3 competitions are being hosted as Wildcards:

  • DMC Scratch

  • DMC Open

  • DMC Classic
    

• DMC Supremacy will not be hosted online this year. All competitors will need to enter a live national battle to qualify.
  

• Wildcard Champions are not eligible to defend their title the following year. Each Wildcard season resets annually to crown a new Champion.
  

• The winners will be flown to Tokyo to compete live at the 2025 DMC World Finals.
  

Here’s how it works:

• Submit a video showcasing your absolute best routine for whichever category(s) you choose to enter.

  
  

• Deadline to enter eliminations is June 15, 2025 (full submission instructions and deadlines are on the DMC website).
  

• A panel of top DMC judges will review all submissions and select the Wildcard Champion Finalists, advancing to the next stage of the event.
  

• DMC Wildcard Finals are scheduled to air in August 2025.
  

Important: This competition is open to DJs worldwide — whether you’re a seasoned competitor or a first-time battle DJ, if you’ve got the skills, we want to see them.
